Yes hun, they will help you. There is a help center there and depending on how long the layover is , you can take a stroll around DC and they have a lot of stuff you can do, a big food court amd plenty of little stores and coffee shops and bathrooms as well. Before you get off the train ask one of the ppl there and they can direct you where ever you need to go. Safe travels!

no
No, there's a very limited schedule you should check before you go.
I'm not sure if there is a parking lot. However, to pick up someone you can drive to the front or sides of the building depending on where they are standing to get picked. There are side entrances to the station too so be sure to get clarity prior to picking up anyone.
Huge food court on lower level. Several other places on main level, including Shake Shack
Hex no!! Their not trying to have folks come back like that... just keep it moving when you pass through💯👀🤣
Amtrak goes directly to BWI and the MARCs trains go to BWI as well. Take a regional Amtrak train from Union Station to BWI and trip is about 25 minutes. The first stop is New Carrollton and the stop after is BWI-Thurgood Marshall Airport
Great quality in a cozy setting. Highly recommended.
Best kept secret.
This a grab and go sushi and teriyaki place. If you have 15 mins for lunch this will keep you from going hungry. The menu attached to this profile is not valid any longer. I was very disappointed when I ordered Ochazuke and the woman behind the counter asked me if it was a roll, I aksed for some water and was grunted at about tap water, all they have to drink is spirte and the like. Go to Momoyama instead!
Excellent sushi. We were seated immediately and did not have to wait very long. A wonderful lunch experience! Would gladly go again
NO SUSHI SERVED!!!! Only got foodNOT OPEN UNTILL 5pm Very Disappointed :(
Informal to go place. Very tasty!
I absolutely LOVE this restaurant. I usually don't eat sushi because I hate the taste or the texture, but this restaurant made sushi extremely tasty. The price isn't expensive so it's affordable, AND the meat is high quality. who doesn't want high quality food for a cheaper price? This shop is AWESOME. They even have WiFi and it is open on Saturday. THIS RESTAURANT IS OPEN ON SATURDAY.I also heard from the owner that he is planning to make a website soon because he is tired of everyone getting confused over times and prices and stuff like that. AWESOME food, KIND owner, NICE workers, BEAUTIFUL design and WONDERFUL flavor. i would give it a 100/10 if I could.
Exactly what I need when I’m craving sushi.
I've had a lot of sushi in my lifetime, but the Special Ninja Roll I ordered from Kyoto was the best sushi I have ever had. I did not want my roll deep fried and the waitor was attentive and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. My friend customized her sushi very specifically and she also got exactly what she wanted. The green tea was hot and had a very natural taste. The service was great and the staff were very kind.
Lunch box is good
Amazing food and service and dont forget the Bourbons and whiskeys.
Meh. The staff was surly and slooow. We were the only 2 people in there, it took forever and then they just kinda slammed the food down and hurried away. We had sashimi, the pieces were thin, the tuna and salmon were still partially frozen. It was also hard to find a reasonably clean table despite the restaurant being totally empty. The tuna and snapper quality was very low( probably not really snapper). The salmon and white tuna were ok.
Great stuff
A standard sushi place, it's the only one on this side of Capitol Hill. Prices are moderate, but there is always a shortage of beer.
So it may seem weird to say but I've never had the sushi here. With that being said their other meals are wonderful. Reasonable prices for a solid portion of food. Not the cheapest but I'd say quality makes it worthwhile.
Service is good. Food is good. We ate here a couple of times and the fish is always fresh. Restaurant‘s bathroom barely works and the smell travels. Try to sit closer to the door. Only having one waitress makes refills and payment a little slow.
Very friendly staff, nice place. Food was OK, I had the katsu curry. The sauce was a bit odd and the chicken was tough. Prices reasonable.
Love the double salmon rolls
This was a great experience on my recent trip to D.C. I love eating at locally owned restaurants, and this surpassed my already high expectations. If you want great sushi, don't hesitate to visit.
Not great food.
We loved the food (rices, spices, and all the japaneses sauce). Plus the live cooking show. It was an amazing experience
First off, this is the first bad review i've ever made so it's not like im a chronic whiner or anything. This place had decent enough service but it ends there. If you spend nothing and get cheap food thats one thing, but for these prices you should be getting WAY better food. I left feeling as though I had just been robbed.Im pretty sure their main demographic is foreign tourists who don't plan on coming back and have no real comparison for what good sushi is. I don't think that's good when I visit other countries and I don't want it in mine.
Good food but terrible service. Took an hour and a half to get our food. They seem short staffed.
Great 🍣 and convenient to Union station.
Simple, cozy and fairly priced.
Really really good
Really good sushi, the softness and temperature of the rice perfect, fish are fresh and sushi rolls are very well made, very good price. Highly recommended!
Amazing food!
We have been going to Kyoto for 15 years and it used to be one of our favorite spots. Unfortunately the quality has declined in the last couple years. They no longer use chicken breasts (only chicken thighs that often have a lot of gristle). We have switched mostly to shrimp and then they were out of it this week too. Sushi has always been about medium quality and that mostly continues to be true. You can find better food nearby.
Not great, small portions. I was still hungry afterwards
Waited for 20 minutes to get my order. They were unprepared for the lunch rush. The food was okay but reminded me of the food you may get from a mall food court. Most pricing appeared to be very reasonable though.
Good Sushi and entrees
The sauce that they use on the yakisoba is extremely sweet not a very pleasant dish.
Favorite casual go to lunch place on Senate side of the Capitol.
The rice was virtually plastic, and fish was so slimy. Nice and quick service, great miso soup, but pretty unappetizing sushi.
Amazing sushi!
Really good sushi in Capital Hill.
Good rolls for a reasonable price
Not a restaurant, more like an expensive take-out place. I didn't know that, until my soup and tea (both extra cost) arrived in cardboard. The sushi was in plastic. Then they threw me out because they said they close until 4. That was $20. In 2017 you can get this quality sushi in a supermarket for $7 so I assume this is more for Congressional staffers who really need to get out of the office for 20 minutes.
Having spent time in Japan, this place is the real deal. Small, homey, friendly staff, and a menu that features all the classic Japanese foods Americans think the Japanese eat, and some traditional items. Last night was my first time in but this is now going to be my stable Japanese restaurant while living on Capitol Hill.
Very good food! Fresh sashimi and craftfully made sushi rolls. Friendly and quick service. Highly recommended!
So so sushi, not a lot of variety. Give it a shot though... Its not bad.
The fish cake udon noodles did not have any fish cake in it! I thought it was overpriced, but I am not familiar with the cost of food in this area. The staff were friendly and efficient.
Wonderful fresh food!
Never going back... The food was mediocre at best but the customer service was from out of this world. The lady at the front who I am assuming is either in-charge or the owner was extremely rude and disrespectful...not what I would expect from any restaurant and especially from a Japanese Sushi restaurant...if any of you are fans of the Seinfeld show - I am not joking when I say she would give that Soup guy a run for his title...
